Karen's Flower Shoppe has been proudly serving Cairo and Greene County since 1984.
About the Owner: Karen opened the shop in 1984. Before opening, she attended Horticulture class in high school, then continued on to major in Floriculture at SUNY Cobleskill, NY. After graduation, Karen worked for a local florist in Cairo, NY until the untimely death of the owner. The owner’s wife decided to close the shop and 1½ months later Karen rented her first space and opened as Karen’s Flower Shoppe. When she is not designing flowers, Karen loves to make crafts, hang out wh friends, and support all the other local businesses in Cairo, NY.
About the Staff: Karen and her floral design team are committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Because all of our customers are important, our professional staff is dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one. We always go the extra mile to help our customers design the perfect arrangement for their occasions.
About the Shop: Karen’s Flower Shoppe carries premium, fresh flowers, and beautiful silk flowers. We also have a wonderful assortment of giftware, such as plush animals. A local delivery fee of $5.00 (and up) will be added to each order, for each address.
U.S. orders must be received before 2:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it. We cannot guarentee timed deliveries during a holiday week.
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on these days will be delivered the following business day.(except for the Holidays will deliver on Mondays).
Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.
We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. International orders may take 3 days or more for delivery. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.
Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your arrangement due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
